A great day of hiking in the Ah Shi Sle Pah Wilderness Study Area!  This fantastic area is in the San Juan Basin about 145 miles Northwest of Albuquerque.  Sunny skies with high clouds, temps in the 70s, light breezes, lots of fantastic badlands scenery, formations and hoodoos.  We just missed the rainy weather as the next day was very wet and windy.  You don't want to visit these areas when the dirt roads are muddy and slippery!  A stop at El Bruno's in Cuba NM for New Mexican food on the way back completed the road trip.
